Ky3's Sara Sheffield reports on how a failure to fix a glitch in the new minimum wage law could lead fire departments to cut back shifts, impacting response times.
The City of Springfield is challenging the law in court. But if that's not successful, one option could be layoffs or asking taxpayers for more money.

See both parties are at fault for this situation.
Democrats- Should have written the amendment in a better way and revised it and edited it.
Republicans- The leadership should have fixed the problem! IT IS SERIOUS!
Oh, so when the min.wage is going to hurt a governments budget hurry up and fix the problem- but when it's killing a family owned businesses budget throw 'em to the wolves. Nice double standard. Ask McCaskill "Don't the fire fighters deserve our support, too?" Then ask about the double standard!
