McCaskill & Bond Could Both Oppose Immigration Bill

A comprehensive immigration bill is under fire from all sides.

But when Sen. Claire McCaskill votes to eliminate an expanded guest worker program from the bill and Sen. Kit Bond votes to keep it, which one is taking the liberal (or conservative) position?

The amendment to eliminate a guest worker program failed in the U.S. Senate.

McCaskill voted to eliminate it because, "she doesn't believe in growing a failing program," according to her spokeswoman. Bond voted to keep it saying, "negotiations have seemed to produce a bipartisan agreement."

Still, the devils in the details for both of Missouri's Senators.

MissouriNet has a summary of their concerns HERE.
