Blunt for president? One man's plan

Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan has a column in Wednesday's paper about a plan for Matt Blunt to become president.

At least one blog was beating this drum in 2005 and included previous McClellan comments about Blunt making a run for the White House.

The Radical Republican thinks it's just part of a wave of political speculation that's been going around the last week. I think I've finally found the source of all this: a report in the Wonkette about Sen. Kit Bond's future.

Bond has always been a rather dull charactor, however his service has been admireable. Blunt on the other hand has little chance of national office and will probably struggle to get re-elected.
