Your Primary Day Forecast

Your election day forecast in Springfield, is well . . . hot. Big surprise.

The Weather Channel is forecasting 74 degrees in Springfield when polls open at 6 a.m. By noon, it will be 89 degrees, climbing to a high of 92 by 3 p.m.

There's just a 20% chance of precipitation in Springfield tomorrow, with a slight southwest wind of 8 mph.

Missouri voters pick candidates in two statewide primaries, for auditor and U-S Senator. You'll also decide several county office races and open judge seats. Missouri will also decide whether to extend a sales tax for state parks and soil conservation. Greene county voters will be asked to do the same locally.

The city of Ozark wants its residents to approve a sales tax increase to build a new community center. And the city of Nixa asks voters to approve a sales tax increase for cemetery improvements.
