Sarah Palin arrived at 9:57 a.m. Wednesday morning at Springfield's Borders bookstore for a two-hour signing.
Palin was greeted to cheers of "Sarah, Sarah," by the predominately female crowd. Palin is traveling with both of her parents. The 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee worked the rope line outside Borders for a few moments but did not address the crowd or the media. There was just a single protester spotted.
Ky3's Sara Forhetz spoke with both of Palin's parents and will have more on KY3 News @ Noon.
Forhetz reports that Palin's father says he was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood more than 50 years ago.
