AP: Lawsuit over candidate's threat

From the A.P. Friday night:
A lawsuit claims that a Missouri candidate for Congress made threatening phone calls to the wife of another candidate.
Janice Noland says businessman Alan Conner made threats in a message on her answering machine, saying "I will bring you down."
Conner and Janice Noland's husband -- former state senator Jim Noland -- are among four Republican candidates in the Fourth Congressional District primary in west-central Missouri.
The winner takes on long-time Democratic Congressman Ike Skelton.
The lawsuit filed last month seeks damages for harassment and emotional distress.
Conner did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
He has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own money trying to win the race.
