Wardell Adds Southeastern Consultant to Campaign Team

A campaign consultant with ties to the southeastern U.S. has signed on to advise the 7th District Congressional campaign of Michael Wardell.

Wardell announced Monday that Tim Baker of Capitol Strategy Group, will serve as a strategic adviser.

Baker served as Georgia Congressman Max Burn's chief of staff and helped him raise millions of dollars for his election campaigns. Baker also has experience in the field working for the National Republican Congressional Committee. Read more of Baker's bio HERE.

Baker is likely advising without pay since Wardell hasn't yet raised any significant campaign funds. Wardell was the 7th candidate to jump in the 7th District GOP primary, which includes candidates Billy Long, Sen. Gary Nodler, Sen. Jack Goodman and others.
