New Spot Designed to Respond to Fox Ad

A source close to the drive against Amendment 2 tells the KY3 Political Blog that a new anti-embryonic stem cell research TV ad will soon air in response to the Claire McCaskill ad featuring actor Michael J. Fox.

The ad is set to run sometime during Game 4 of the World Series, but possibly only in the St. Louis television market.

"This in a response to the Michael J. Fox ad," the source says.

It features "Passion of the Christ" actor Jim Caviezel, Springfield Cardinals pitcher Jeff Suppan, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, "Everybody Loves Raymond's" Patricia Heaton and the Kansas City Royals' Mike Sweeney.

They all urge a "No" vote on Amendment 2.

The ad is being paid for by the Life Communications Fund of the Vitae Caring Foundation.
