Is Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee liberals worst nightmare for the 2008 presidential campaign?
According to lefty bloggers, Jerome Armstrong and Markos Moulitsas, he just may be.
In a recent interview on Tim Russert's weekend interview show, Armstrong and Moulitsas said Huckabee is the Republican they most fear facing in 2008. Inside the beltway, Huckabee is seen as a long-shot for winning the G.O.P. nomination.
But Armstrong and Moulitsas, who just wrote the book "Crashing The Gate," love outsider candidates -- anyone that isn't from the beltway or goes against the mainstream. On their own side they favor candidates like Sen. Russ Finegold and former Governor Mark Warner for the 2008 nod. Hillary Clinton? They're not exactly enthusiastic about.
On Huckabee?
"He looks like a great guy who's funny," Moulitsas said. "He might be like a radical right agenda, but in Iowa that actually might play," Armstrong added.

Nice story David- I've heard Huckabee on the Imus show and he has a great sense of humor. His Aw- shucks story telling might sell. He's lost alot of weight and that would be a good message to people and government.
