Governor Blunt gets a welcomed bump in the new monthly tracking poll released by SurveyUSA. Blunt's June approval rating is 42%, up seven points from May. Still, 53% disapprove, but it is a boost the Gov. And even though he has poo-pooed the polls methods, I'm sure he'll take the up-tick.
Here in the Ozarks, Blunt's approval rating is at 51%. Surprisingly, his approval rating in central Missouri is higher - 54%. The cities are still his problem.
Blunt's 7 point boost matches the President's June bump. Bush was at a sobering 29% in Missouri in May. The President now sits at 36%.
Seems like 7 is the G.O.P.'s magic number for June.
