Gov. Matt Blunt reacted to a federal report that showed Missouri losing more than 10,000 jobs in March and the unemployment rate climbing to its highest mark in three years. Listen to what he said above.
The U.S. Department of Labor says Missouri lost jobs in nearly every employment sector. The biggest losses came in manufacturing and construction --- a total of 6,400 jobs lost. The state's unemployment rate climbed to 5.7%. The national unemployment rate for March was 5.1%.
