Dave, we went last night. My dad and step-mom got there just before 5:00 at 9:30, after 4 1/2 hours on their feet and without supper, they slipped out. They would have liked to stay, but physically couldn't. My mom and several other relatives stayed home because they didn't fel they were up to the long wait on their feet. Some of the people near us were ovewhelmed with the crush of the crowd after being inside for a while. I dont' think the people who left were anti-anything, they just didn't have the advantae of a press pass!
I am still soar this morning, but glad I got to go.
I was very disappointed with your reporting on the Clinton event. Do we need media drama? Is it a reporters job to report facts or to mislead? Yes, a "few" people left the event early(not enough to make the news)Did you ever consider that people had been on their feet for 4-5 hours? In this day and time-we need good reporters. Please stick to facts.
