Local Dems Divided Over Prolonged Race

"It hurts the party, it hurts the party an awful lot if she stays in," Marie Carmichael
Local supporters of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama see a prolonged race for the Democratic race very differently.

You can watch my KY3 News @ 10 report HERE.

The wife of the former state chair of the Missouri Democratic Party said she was disappointed with the results Tuesday, and said most Democrats want to move to focus their attention on the general election. But Marie Carmichael is an Obama supporter. Don't tell Hillary Clinton supporters that.

Springfield Clinton supporter Bryan Fisher said Obama's losses in the big states of Ohio and Texas means it's less likely Obama will be able to win Pennsylvania on April 22nd.

But Carmichael said if it's superdelegates that ultimately sway the nomination from Obama to Clinton, it could ruin the party come November.
