Barack Obama holds a four-point lead over Hillary Clinton in the first-in-the-nation state of Iowa, according to a new ABC News poll out Monday.
IOWA DEMS
Barack Obama 30%
Hillary Clinton 26%
John Edwards 22%
Important nugget for Obama . . . *Most Democratic likely voters in Iowa, 55 percent, say they're more interested in a "new direction and new ideas" than in strength and experience, compared with 49 percent in July -- a help to Obama, who holds a substantial lead among "new direction" voters.
