Barnitz Urges Congress to Abandon North America Union

It's a cry to protect our borders! Sort of.

Sen. Frank Barnitz announced his opposition to efforts to establish a North American union that he says would threaten U.S. jobs and sovereignty.

The Senate rules committee has already approved Barnitz's plan (Senate Concurrent Resolution 15), which urges Congress to "withdraw the United States from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and any other multilateral activity which seeks to advance the creation of the North America Union."

SCR 15 says a North American Union with Canada and Mexico would pose a direct threat to the nation's borders.

"Missourians throughout our state are still trying to recover from the job losses caused by NAFTA," Sen. Barnitz said. "The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) is another step in the wrong direction, allowing an avenue for illegal aliens to enter our country and state via an expressway."

The SPP was launched by the U.S., Canada and Mexico in March of 2005 to enhance security and prosperity among three nations.

Critics of the SPP have ranged from CNN anchor Lou Dobbs and conservative commentator Phyllis Schlafly.

Barnitz says the resolution is a message to Congress. "This plan threatens the very foundations of the U.S., and we must withdraw before it is too late."

In order for North American Union to exist and be strong then Canada should be a self indipendent state.and that means A British influence must be thoroughly removed.Establishment would be easy and safe because state borders will be recognible yet negligible through activities of residences and migrants who are the locals. The influence of each statehood will must be restricted by Governments to foreigners, that means foreigners should be in certain state according to Visa page acquired
