Mo Dems: Paper Wants Talent Ads Pulled

According to Missouri Democrats, the Kansas City Star is demanding that Sen. Jim Talent pull ads he is currently running about Auditor Claire McCaskill's record on nursing homes.

From the Missouri Democratic Party:

Yesterday, Star Editorial Page Editor Miriam Pepper sent an e-mail to the Talent campaign that stated: "We are formally requesting that the Talent campaign pull all ads that cite The Kansas City Star as the source for material that is not properly attributed. The ads imply that these are statements from editorials or reporters. They are not."
