Auctioneer Billy Long raised $104,189 during the last three months to leave the 7th District Republican U.S. House candidate with a whopping $405,162 on hand to spend.
Long's campaign finance numbers were posted on the Federal Election Commission's site Wednesday morning.
Long's campaign said it received contributions from 217 individuals between July and the end of September. During the second quarter, Long had 179 donors.
"I am pleased with the support our effort has received from people all over southwest Missouri," Long said. "People are tired of career politicians and are embracing our effort to bring some commonsense conservative ideas to our nation's capitol," Long said.
Long is the first 7th District candidate to report his 3rd Quarter fundraising numbers. Sens. Jack Goodman and Gary Nodler have not yet revealed their totals.
All third quarter campaign finance reports will be made public by Thursday.
