Congressman Roy Blunt's Washington, D.C. home sold in just a day. Blunt wanted $1.6 million for the property.

The townhouse in the Georgetown district where John F. Kennedy once lived went on sale on Georgetown Metropolitan on Tuesday. The house at 1528 31st St. N.W. is now under contract, according to a real estate listing.

Built in 1942, the 2,646-square-foot house was listed for $1.595 million. It has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.
