An employment services group projects that Springfield area companies will higher at a better pace than the national average during the 1st quarter of the year.
Of the more than two dozen area companies surveyed, 19 percent said they planned to increase staffing between January and March, according to the Manpower survey.
Springfield Chamber of Commerce president Jim Anderson, pictured above, calls the quarterly survey "awfully good news in this economic climate."
