Hulshof Focuses on The Economy, While Fending Off Attacks

My analysis: The establishment favorite, Kenny Hulshof has been knocked off his planned message by an aggressive candidate he might not have seen coming. While he tries to focus on the economy, he's still fending off attacks from Sarah Steelman while also attempting to re-define her. His strength is he eloquence and his ability to connect one-on-one. This race could be a case of The Message versus The Messenger?

Has anyone noticed that Hulshof cannot give a direct answer to a question. E.G. Cantonese's questions on the Mexican ID card and the economy. And its not like he is intentionally being deceptive. It simply appears like he hasn't thought the issue through. With Steelman you may not like her answer, or you may disagree, but she gives a direct response. Right now I can't figure out what Hulshof's campaign is about other than criticizing Steelman' tactics. I think the media may be catching on to Hulshof's non-responses. There may be a major upset brewing.

I was going to say the exact same thing about the clip at the very top.

I might be a little bias. I thought Hulshof was a schmuck before I ever watched the clip. I keep looking for substance in his words, but there is none.

I thought the days of slick talking men, selling oils and elixirs, were a thing of the past.

I think Kenny should get a covered wagon and hit the trail.

So yeah, he's got a great "vision".
What is it? I know what Sarah Steelman's plan is on tax-relief, immigration, and energy. Do we have to nominate him before he tells us?

So let me get this straight, Hulshof's plan to get jobs in Missouri is to aggresively talk about bringing jobs to Missouri. Yep, sounds like a winner. I wonder if that works for the price of gas too, if we just talk about low gas prices, it will magically happen. Brilliant.
