Blunt Beats Boehner . . .

IN SOFTBALL
We were there back in Feburary 2006, when Roy Blunt lost to John Boehner in the G.O.P. leadership race. It was a shock, which made it tough for the Ozarks Congressman and his supporters.
Now this from Politico . . .
"To be fair, neither lawmaker played (can you imagine either dapper dan taking cuts in knee-high socks and a dust-stained three-quarter sleeve T-shirt?). But aides to the Republican whip held off a late-inning surge to beat their counterparts in the office of the Republican leader, 15-11, in the heated Friday afternoon contest."
