This is without a doubt the sleaziest thing I've seen in the last 24+ years that I've been able to vote. Just awful. The folks that put this together should be ablsolutely ashamed of themselves.
Not only does it take twisting to the absolute lowest low, the narrator mispronounces Kenny's name (yes that is a big deal, not to mention disrespectful of a 6 term public servant). Very sad.

Well, I cannot say that it is the sleaziest ad I have ever seen in politics, but I have seen a lot of ads. It is an interesting way to talk about the issue that is for sure. Not my favorite ad, but it does get the information out quickly, and leaves me with a feeling of 'ew'. As in 'ew, I don't want to be paying for that." As a taxpayer, I prefer to keep more of my money and give to those that I choose to give to rather then be compelled to give, and it be used on that.

Paul- the ad is absolutely factual. When has stating the true facts become "sleazy". If you don't think earmarks are relevant- say so. However, from Rush, to Hannity, to Gingrich, to Senator McCain- all have stated that the Republican party has been tarnished by unrestrained spending and earmarking. Hulshof has an earmark/spending problem. The public has a right to know this information.

It's tawdry, the only thing missing in that ad was a woman in a g-string swinging on a vertical poll. If you're a Republican you should be outraged that money and integrity is being burned at such a rate.
The folks that are pumping this sewage out should be remembered during future campaigns, and I pray that the Steelmans will stop allowing this kind of behavior, they are a good family and frankly it's beneath them. My other prayer is that the Hulshof Campaign doesn't respond in kind.
