Attorney General Jay Nixon will join Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer, former Missouri House Speaker Jim Kreider and local family farmers for a tour and roundtable discussion on agriculture issues and policy Saturday in Nixa at 11:30 a.m.
In a press release, Nixon said that ensuring the stability and security of family farms should be a "top priority" during tough economic times.
Later Saturday, Nixon will address the Greene County Jackson Day Banquet, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel on South Glenstone.
