Edwards Wins, Obama Falters

Edwards seems to have won this debate because of the strong, specific case he made for his candidacy but also for his willingness to hit back and challenge frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

Hillary had many general answers and seemed less crisp in this debate than previous encounters. But she didn't lose, so she holds her lead.

Obama seemed off his game and missed an opportunity. Being down 20 points he can't afford performances like this. He underperformed. "I think with Barack Obama, it's another set of downs and he didn't move a yard," says MSNBC's Pat Buchanan.
