Some members of Congress are tired of spending so much time in Washington.
One is even proposing a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule.
CQPolitics.com has the dish.
The House has already posted 122 days in session and taken 890 roll calls votes.
“It is starting to wear thin to members on both sides,’’ Minority Whip Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said recently.
The Democratic leadership is even suggesting its agenda could drag through the Christmas holiday. “I would guess that our members will be even more unhappy if we’re here on Christmas,’’ Blunt responded.
