Who's Paying for Nixon's Tracker?

The Missouri Democratic Party wants to know who's responsible for sending a person to track Jay Nixon.

The party sent out a release quoting a piece by Jo Mannies of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that reports the Missouri Republican Party didn't hire the tracker, and neither did Governor Matt Blunt.

The release then includes pictures of Daniel Bell, and notes that he followed Jay Nixon with a camera at the Governor's ham breakfast. The party also reveals that Dan Bell is on Blunt's campaign payroll, according to the most recent report filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
We actually had the chance to interview Dan Bell last year during the McCaskill-Talent campaign. When we asked the Talent camp for someone to speak on the Senator's behalf for a Truthwatch story on the infamous "Josh" veteran's ad by Claire McCaskill's campaign, the Talent team deployed Dan Bell to our studio.
