WASHINGTON (AP) - Two congressional Democrats from St. Louis plan to endorse Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.
It'll happen at a fundraiser today.
But what about the state's top elected Democrat, Sen. Claire McCaskill?
Her spokeswoman, Adrianne Marsh, says McCaskill has no plans to endorse yet, but offers this cherryblossom:
"She thinks the world of Senator Obama and thinks he would make a terrific president," Marsh said.
Not an endorsement yet, but we're getting closer . . .
