Tornado Kills Child in Caulfield

Though at times I'd like it to be, political blogging isn't my day job.

Sometimes, our reporting involves life and death, like Thursday, when many of my colleagues and I either went to bed late or got up early to monitor gathering severe storms to our east.

The Springfield area dodged a bullet. But sadly, a family in the tiny town of Caulfield, Mo. did not.
