New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, not to be outdone by Sen. Clinton's announcement, also entered the 2008 race for the Democratic nomination this weekend.
Richardson, a former Clinton cabinet member, will make his official announcement Sunday morning on ABC's "This Week" with another former Clinton staff member, George Stephanopouls.
He easily won re-election in November and was apparently on Gore's and Kerry's short-list of potential running mates.
The Wen Ho Lee security issues at the Energy department happened on his watch. We'll see how that plays out.
