Edwards In, Bayh Out

Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards , fresh off an NBC/WSJ poll that had him beating Sen. John McCain in November 2008, announced he would be seeking the Democratic nomination for president. Edwards did not reveal in which America he would seek the nomination.

Meanwhile, Indiana Senator Evan Bayh spent two weeks exploring a run for the White House. Evidently he didn't find much, saying Saturday he didn't think he could win. We didn't think so either.

I'm disappointed that Bayh has quit. He probably couldn't win but he was a candidate that could have picked up some of the middle ground voters. He seemed like a truely decent person.

Huh?

Edwards speaks of two "Americas"... but there's only one vote in both "Americas".

Hypocrites, and how to spot them:

John Edwards, member of the wealthy part of the "two Americas".

Al Gore, burning up thousands of gallons of jet fuel to circle the globe and tell people we must stop burning... fossil fuels.

Irony is a cruel master.
