Chuck Todd: Tie Goes to McCaskill

Tim Russert interviewed the nation's top three political analysts on his weekend show Saturday.
Charlie Cook of The Cook Political Report, Stu Rothenberg of The Rothenberg Political Report and Chuck Todd of The Hotline all predicted the Democrats would overtake the U.S. House.

But what about the Senate? It's too close to call.

Chuck Todd believes it will all come down to Missouri.

Todd says:

"I believe as Missouri goes, so goes the Senate. Jim Talent holds Missouri, Republicans hold the Senate, pure and simple. No Republican incumbent Senator is in better character shape, values shape, issue shape than Jim Talent. But this wind at the backs of Democrats is pretty strong. I think the environment tips, I think this is like baseball, and Democrats are the runner. Tie goes to the runner. If this is tied on election day, and right now it's tied, you got to put the scale for McCaskill."

Later Stu Rothenberg agreed, "Missouri certainly is the key, absolutely."

Who says it is a tie? Well, Chuck Todd did, if you read the post.

The other two said nothing about the race, other than what was quoted. Again, reading the post helps.

Shorter bobicus tomatocus: I don't like what it says, it must be a Liberal conspiracy.

Who pulls the strings of the liberal AND conservative conspiracies?

According to Aurora's own Li'l Hitler, it must be "the Jews".
