The latest in a flurry of U.S. Senate polls this week gives Democratic challenger Claire McCaskill a three-point lead over Sen. Jim Talent.
McCaskill 48%
Talent 45%
That's a USA Today/Gallup poll, based on 511 likely voters in Missouri between Sept. 27th and Oct. 1st. The margin of error is +/- 5%.
Among registered voters, the same survey gives McCaskill a 44%-39% lead.
Also this week, a Rasmussen poll gave McCaskill a one-point edge, while Reuters put Talent up by 4 points. Johncombest.com has them all listed on his comprehensive site today.
