On CNN's Larry King Live Monday Night:
Sen. Claire McCaskill: "This is an inherited problem. The President walked into the Oval Office with an incredible economic mess on his hands. It's going to take some time . . ."
Sen. John Thune: "The bill that we have on the Senate floor this week, the Senate Appropriations bill, has somewhere around 9,000 earmarks in it. The President could've put his foot down on that."
