Greene County Clerk Richard Struckoff tells The Notebook turnout is on pace for about 18 percent in Tuesday's sales tax election."It all depends what happens after 4 p.m. If it falls flat like in November, it'll be 15%. If it picks up, it will be closer to 20%," Struckoff said.
The City of Springfield is voting on whether it should raise the sales tax by one-cent for the next five years to help fund the city's police and fire pension fund.
A 4-way Mayoral primary is also underway -- and just 2 candidates will survive tonight.
