So Republicans seem relieved, calmed, i.e. happy. Democrats think Biden did what he needed. No real news. No gamechangers. No harm, no foul. Everybody's happy, so does that mean this debate vanishes into the wind?
What say you?
Did Ifill pitch good questions? Did Palin seem too rehearsed? Did Biden seem too know-it-allish?
BTW: Even Gov. Matt Blunt thinks the McCain folks should unleash Palin to more media.

I think Palin started the debate a little tense, as the debate wore on she seemed to loosen up, and let her personality shine through.
She showed she is not just a empty suit, but has a real command of the issues. I give her the win, in that she met expectations, and slightly exceeded some.
All in all, a good night for Palin.
Palin looked like a Stepford candidate to me. Completely rehearsed, nothing spontaneous. The Miss Alaska pageant on steroids.
Anybody who thinks she's ready to be a melanomic 72-year-old heartbeat away from the Presidency was already going to vote for McCain anyway.
