Considering Steelman's dismal Q2 fundraising, may I recommend foregoing the bus in favor of something more economical? If Steelman really wants to lead on gas/energy prices, maybe she should travel the state in something that gets more than 8 mpg. Her ethanol shtick hasn't fooled anyone. Most economists (and Steelman fancies herself one) know that rising demand from Asia is the real reason for high prices. She sure isn't helping...

I think it is a great public relations move on Sara's part, especially getting to a lot of small towns that normal candidates don't ever get to.

If I were her I'd play up the david vs. goliath scenario here, claiming Hulshof is the establishment candidate raising big money while she is the underdog who will take her campaign directly to the people all over Missouri.

Let the people decide this election not the special interest.
