Lampe is lying and repeating a Democrat talking point.
There have been numerous cases of proven voter fraud both here in Missouri and abroad. Anyone remember the ACORN group who were convicted just last year of fraudently registering people?
What about the irregularties in St. Louis doing the 2000 election (and after).
That does not even scratch the surface in places out side of Missouri.
The United States Supreme Court apparently thought that voter ID was not burdensom to the point of being unconsitutional.
Does that mean Lampe is wrong when she talks about a birth certificate to get an ID? To a point no.
That can be an expense, but more if it truly was an excessive burden (e.g. poll tax) then why havent we seen someone sue one of the states with such an exsisting law and claim a wrong - and win?
The answer is simple - it is Democrats who are fear mongering over this issue (as with many), but who are not being held into account.
