All Eyes Turn South

NEXT UP: SOUTH CAROLINA, FLORIDA
**S.C. DEM DEBATE TONIGHT
NEW FLA. G.O.P. RASMUSSEN POLL**
The remaining three Democratic candidates for president will debate in South Carolina tonight on CNN for two hours. It begins at 7 p.m. If you are a Hillary Clinton supporter, the campaign is inviting you to a special watch party at Greene County Democratic headquarters on 1764 South Fremont Ave.
Meanwhile, the slugfest on the Republican Party moves to Florida. And a new poll from Rasmussen gives an early edge to Mitt Romney . . .
FLORIDA G.O.P.
Mitt Romney 25%
John McCain 20%
Rudy Giuliani 19%
Mike Huckabee 13%
Fred Thompson 12%
The poll surveyed 754 likely Republican primary voters on January 20th. One open question is whether Fred Thompson will stay in the race. The former Senator from Tennessee is considering dropping out of the race after a disappointing showing in South Carolina last Saturday. Does he endorse McCain to give him a boost? And what happened to Rudy's Florida firewall? Is it eroding? And if he doesn't win there, how does he go on?
