Nixon's "Car-Gate" issue propelled a game of press release volleyball between the Blunt and Nixon campaigns Friday night. The Nixon camp called on the Blunt campaign to abide by the same rule.
Republicans then blasted an e-mail out with the headline: "Nixon Admits Guilt: Arrogance of the Law is Not a Defense."
“Jay Nixon’s decision to confess to a crime doesn’t change the fact that he broke the law. Just because a thief returns the merchandise and apologizes does not clear them of the crime,” said Paul Sloca, communications director for the Missouri Republican Party.

All this . . . on a Friday afternoon.
TGIF.
