The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513 in St. Louis have endorsed Democratic candidate for Attorney General Jeff Harris.
“Local 513 is supporting Jeff Harris because he has been unyielding in his support of issues dear to our members. Jeff defended our right to a safe work place and fought to protect prevailing wage laws," said Dick Dickens, the business manager for Local 513.
Local 513 represents an estimated 4,800 men and women that are heavy equipment operators & construction mechanics in Eastern Missouri. Their members work largely in the private sector for contractors.
