Gov. Mitt Romney will visit Springfield on Monday, October 1st for a meet-and-greet with local supporters.
Romney's Missouri Political Director Rod Jetton sent out invitations to supporters on Saturday notifying them of the "invitation only" event.
Romney will meet supporters at 11 a.m. in the Oklahoma Room of the University Plaza Hotel on Oct. 1st.
In an e-mail, Jetton says supporters will need to RSVP in order to get into the event.
Romney was scheduled to visit Springfield in August, but had to cancel at last minute due to a west coast appearance on the CBS Early Show, following his victory in the Iowa straw poll.
No word on whether there will be press availability at this re-scheduled Romney event.
