Russert asks Edwards if he regrets having a hedge fund with subprime mortgages, many of which defaulted in the New Orleans area.

"Look at what I've done," Edwards responds. He's animated. You can tell this hypocrisy charge gets under his skin. He says when that issue came up, he went to ACORN and set up a fund to help people whose homes were being foreclosed on. He contributed money to the fund because he wanted to help people whose lives were impacted.

Edwards handles it well. But the hypocrisy charge probably sticks with some people, no matter how hard he fights it.
