The Missouri Republican Party has pounced on remarks Jay Nixon made in front of the Missouri Sheriff's Association.
Here's what Nixon said:
"You don't find any of our great state troopers spending much time on anything that's got gravel on it, certainly not anything that runs through a stream directly without going over it. You might have to take an hour off and re-clean our cars."

Maybe I should have gone to law school so I could understand what he was saying...just what did he mean?
No mystery in this one. Nixon was trying to pander to a sheriff's audience by taking a cheap shot at the Patrol.
