Rasmussen: McCaskill by 1; But a Talent Advantage?

A new Rasmussen poll gives Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Claire McCaskill a statistically insignificant one-point lead over Republican Senator Jim Talent.

On Fox's Hannity & Colmes, two pollsters quickly bantered about the race.

"It's a statistical tie. It's a state that's been trending red. I'd say if I had to bet, I'd give Talent a slight advantage," said pollster Doug Schoen.

"Yes, but Missouri -- the problem in Missouri is the most reflective state of any country. It's only voted wrong in one presidential race. That's why Talent has got an interesting challenge on his hands," replied G.O.P. pollster Frank Luntz.
