From the Press Release Inbox Wednesday afternoon:

Springfield, MO – The upcoming August 8th primary election is important for the Republican Party. Because the Auditor race is so important the Springfield Metropolitan Republicans will host a debate with the republican candidates for State Auditor on Thursday August 3rd 7:00 p.m., at the Library Center Auditorium. Republican candidates for Auditor include Jack Jackson, Al Hansen, Mark Wright, Sandra Thomas, and John Loudon. In addition to the debate all State and County candidates are invited to the meeting and will be given two minutes to rally volunteers for the 72-hour push before the primary. This event is open to the public.

We hope to see all of you and all of your favorite candidates there.

I wonder if Viebrock will attend. If so it will the closest he will get to a debate.

I woder if Dan Scott will finally tell us where he stands on the issues or if he will just talk about his childhood and pool passes. I loved the Twitty article yesterday. The invitation was the clincher. "come see the beautifuk NEW loft apartment" By law he has supose to live there over a year already. I guess the rich do not need to follow the rules. Do we want someone who breaks the rules to represent our city? Ron Day is the best Choice in that primary don't give the seat to the demoncracts because you GOP elect someone like Scott as your candidate. He is not one of us.
