P.S.: My wife and I live in Springfield, and if you weren't already aware of it, KOLR had a story about this billboard on their 10 PM news this evening (10/09/2008).
For the electronic record, this photo is of a sign that I and many, many other people from southwest Missouri find deeply hurtful, offensive and racist. It shames us. It also motivates us to work even harder for real change on November 4 by helping to send Mr. Obama to the White House.

ReplyDeleteJeez, That's embarrassing. That sign does more to reinforce negative stereotypes about the Ozarks than it does Obama.
